1. Using this website

The content of this website, including its text, pictures and app designs, belongs to Ciscom Programming. Please don’t copy it or use it for your own business without asking us first.

The apps shown on this website are demos with sample data. The people, businesses and numbers in them are made up.

2. Custom apps

Price

Every custom app starts with a free call. After it, we send you a written quote, and that quote sets the price of your app.

Payment

You pay 50% to start and 50% on delivery, after you have approved the app.

Changes

Changes beyond what the quote covers are extra work, charged at $95 per hour. We always agree on any extra work with you before we do it.

3. Refunds

• Care plans for custom apps: you get a full refund if you ask within 30 days of your first payment.
• Custom-app deposit: if you cancel before work starts, we refund your deposit in full. Once work has started, the deposit isn’t refundable, but you may stop at any time and you owe nothing more. You don’t pay the second 50%.

4. Care plans

A care plan looks after your app once it is live. It is billed monthly and covers hosting, backups, security updates, fixes and small changes.

You can cancel a care plan with 30 days’ notice. After that, hosting and updates for your app stop. Before they stop, we’ll offer to export your data for you.

5. CISCOM subscriptions

These are the CISCOM plans on our pricing page.

• Free trial. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card to start, and you aren’t charged until your trial ends.
• A reminder first. We remind you 3 days before your trial ends, before the first charge.
• Renewal. When the trial ends, your subscription starts and the card you added is charged. It then renews automatically at the start of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until it is cancelled.
• Cancelling. An admin can cancel at any time from the billing page in CISCOM. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, or at the end of your free trial, and nothing more is charged. You can change your mind before then.
• Changing plans. An admin can change plans, or switch between monthly and yearly billing, from the billing page. The change takes effect at your next renewal; during a free trial, it takes effect right away.
• Refunds. There are no refunds for time already paid. Cancel any time to stop future charges.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we retry it and let you know. You then have 7 days to sort it out; after that, your account is paused until payment is made.
• Your data. Your data is never deleted because a payment failed or a subscription ended. After your subscription ends, you can still sign in, view and export it.

Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may apply.

6. Warranty and liability

We build and look after our apps and software with care. Apart from what we agree with you in writing, we give no warranty: the website, our apps and our services are provided as they are.

If something goes wrong, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it happened.

7. Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

If we change these terms, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
