This page explains what Ciscom Programming (“Ciscom”, “we”) learns about you when you use this website, ciscom.co, what we do with it, who else sees it, and how to ask us to see or delete it.
1. What we collect
What you type into a form
Our forms ask for things like your name, e-mail address, phone number, company or organization, and a message about what you need. Some forms ask a little more: the forms on our older pages ask for your industry, and the feature request form asks which CISCOM plan you use. You decide what to type; we only receive what you send.
Your IP address, with each form you send
Your IP address is the internet address your device is using. When you send a form, our server adds your IP address, the address of the page you sent it from, and the time to the e-mail we receive.
To stop anyone flooding us with messages, our server also briefly keeps your IP address and the times you sent messages in its working memory, so it can allow at most 5 messages from one address in 10 minutes. This is never saved to a file or a database, and it is lost whenever the server restarts. If an address goes over the limit, that address is written to our server log.
Basic visit records
Like almost every website, our hosting company records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for and the time. We use these records only to keep the site running and safe.
This website never asks for card numbers.
2. How we use it
- To reply to you, and to talk with you about the app, demo or service you asked about.
- To keep the website working and to block spam.
That is all. We don’t use what you send us for anything else.
4. What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don’t use advertising trackers.
- We don’t use analytics or tracking cookies on our home page. In fact, our home page sets no cookies at all.
5. How long we keep it
We keep the e-mails your forms create for as long as we are talking with you or working together, and after that only as long as we need them for our records. The copy of your IP address in our server’s working memory is lost whenever the server restarts. Our hosting company keeps its visit records for a limited time and then deletes them.
6. Getting a copy or deleting it
You can ask us for a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us:
- info@ciscom.co
- Phone
- (718) 971-9711
We’ll answer as soon as we can and tell you what we did.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
