Shelfcount is a sample app for a small shop. You scan or film the shelves to count stock, the app suggests what to reorder and sends each vendor its purchase order, and every evening you see what sold, what didn’t and what will run out next week.

Barcode stock counts, a reorder list, and daily sales.

Shelfcount is a sample with sample data. Your app is built around your own steps, fields and names.
The register shows today’s sales, but not that the size medium is gone from the back room or that a best seller will be out by Thursday. Counting is an after-close job with a clipboard, and by the time it is typed up the numbers are already old.
Meanwhile money leaks out in small ways. A vendor’s new price list slips past unnoticed. Slow sellers take up a whole shelf. Counts don’t match sales, and nobody knows if it was theft, breakage or a miskeyed delivery. A customer asked you to hold an item, and the note is somewhere under the counter.
A quick video of a shelf becomes a count. Supplier invoices are read into stock as deliveries arrive, and when the numbers drift from what you sold, the app flags possible shrinkage. It suggests how much to reorder, predicts what runs out next week and sends each vendor its purchase order.
It also points at the money: slow sellers worth a discount, items that sell better together, vendor price increases, products near their expiry date, and the hours that are really busy. If you sell online, web and in-store stock stay in sync, and customers get a text when the item they asked about comes in.
It suits a gift shop, a hardware store, a boutique, a bike shop, a pet supply store, or two or three stores under one owner. The owner sees margins and trends, staff count and receive stock on a phone, and the counter tablet handles holds and loyalty points.
Usually not. A phone camera can scan barcodes and film shelves, and a tablet at the counter covers the rest. If you already own scanners, mention them on the free call and I will check whether the app can use them.
Yes. Bring the spreadsheet or export you keep today and I set the app up with your items, categories, vendors and prices. The sample on this page uses made-up stock; yours starts with your own shelves and your own names for things.
The app looks at last year’s sales for the same weeks and suggests what to order ahead, so you are not guessing how many umbrellas or school supplies to bring in. You still approve every purchase order before it goes to the vendor.
“Being one day after our 3rd party audit of our GMP and food safety procedures, and our improved maintenance system was a positive and important part of that audit, I would like to thank Ciscom for the software they made for us. It helped us organize the maintenance department and eased the scheduling of preventive maintenance as well as keeping record of spare parts in inventory.”

“Our tCaretraK system, custom created by Ciscom, is a dream come true! I’d just to tick off a few of the amazing accomplishments that we were able to achieve. Since implementation, our records have become streamlined, to the point of redefining our entire approach to being a paperless office. The fully customizable auto emails land in the pre-designated persons email with the precision of a fine-tuned watch. Finally, as a Director, I can’t begin to tell you how amazing Ciscom’s “History” feature is. Gone are the finger pointing games between employees as there’s a clear trail of each and every entry/change/update.”
